Greg Cummings is a member of Dramatists Guild. His plays are published by Concord Theatricals, Drama Notebook, Heuer, Fresh Words, and Smith & Kraus. The plays have been produced at regional theatres, colleges, arts centers, high schools, and middle schools in all fifty states, Canada, and England. His plays have won various awards, including the Jackie White Memorial Playwriting Award and a five year fellowship from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.
Greg has also taught playwriting and produced the plays of his students for over thirty years. He was named Teacher of the Year in New Jersey and California. Greg holds master’s degrees from Wesleyan University and Cornell University. He has published articles on theatre and education in Independent School, The Journal of Adult Education and ElevAATE.
